צָעָא

צָעָאm. (v. צוּעָה) plate, dish. Ḥull.47b צ׳ דקוניא a glazed earthen plate. Pes.111b צ׳ אפומא דחצבאוכ׳ to hang a plate on the snout of a pitcher is indicative of poverty; a. e.Pl. צָעֵי.
